This plate was fused with Iridized clear glass in a chopsticks pattern with four pieces of colored glass in lime, light turquoise, teal and purple. It looks very different, depending on whether the light source is in front of it or behind it. the finished piece is 8 inches suare, is food safe and makes a great wedding gift!

The 12 inch square plate is made of Adventurine Green glass, which sparkles with tiny fragments of gold-like chips. The decorative border has small pieces of various dichroic glass, contained in a band of orange dichroic glass. It is both decorative and functional and comes with an acrylic stand for display.

This piece was fired four times in the kiln in temperatures  from 1480 degrees to 1200 degrees. It would best be used for display, since the gridwork on the surface is raised. The finished size is 8 inches square.
